BEING A GOOD NEIGHBOR:
GUIDELINES FOR LIVING IN COMFORT NOTCH
Residents, please note: Some guidelines and laws are more important than others. If you have any questions about the rankings/importance, please contact Jenny Green or Mayor Hal Hardy’s office.
Thank you for cooperation and adherence to the Comfort Notch rules for the continuance of our way of life!
1. RAKE YOUR LEAVES!
This is applicable to every season, but MOST ESPECIALLY during AUTUMN. You know why, so please do not send us queries via this page. For any questions, please contact those above.
2. KEEP THE SECRET!
You know what it is and who it is about. There will be nothing on this page about it or her.
3. TEACH YOUR CHILDREN!
Teach them the songs, the rhymes, the rituals. Teach them proper manners. Teach them how to respect and address … her. Most importantly, teach them that it is an honor to be chosen.
4. PUNISH THOSE WHO BETRAY US
No further explanation is needed.
5. ENGAGE IN DISINFORMATION IF NECESSARY
If you need a refresher course on this, again, please contact Jenny Green or Mayor Hal Hardy.
6. DO NOT VEER OFF PATHS
Whether walking in the woods outside of town limits or within our area, it is important.
7. WHENEVER POSSIBLE, PLEASE ENSURE TO BUY LOCAL
Comfort Notch has the best businesses in the area. Keep your blood, sweat, tears, and money within our community. It keeps us strong.
8. BE NICE TO EVERYONE – ESPECIALLY VISITORS
You never know when it’ll save your life, our town, or our way of life. Smile, be nice, be helpful – no matter what.
