GETTING HERE

Comfort Notch is tucked away between mountains and the lakes! The only way in which to get here (and explore the area in detail) is by car.  Once you’re in the area, you’ll be able to drive your car through back-country roads! Additionally, to travel off the beaten path, you can rent bikes by the day. Please see the “read more” section here on our site in the “Exploring the Area” section!

There is, however, a bus that comes in once per week during the Summer and Fall seasons.  That bus originates in Portsmouth, NH/Kittery, ME, with the bus stops on the US Route 1 Bypass.

To buy tickets and board in Kittery: Bus shelter in the parking lot of Kittery Natural Foods
